Mrs Catharine Ann Briggs, Cheery street, Philadelphia, has a little daughter who bad been on the decline for several years. At times she would eat voraciously, and sometimes eat nothing at all, and was fast wasting away; her symioms were so unusual and contradictory that the doctors knew not what to do what they would, she constantly grew worse, and they reluctantly declared she must die. At the request of a friend, the mother al this stage procured a box of Peters' Worm Lozenges. FOR NO QUACKERY NO DECEP. TION.

JOHN PEARSON. setting forth the virtues of this truly great medicine, we hare no desire to deceive those who are laboring under ajfiction, nor do we wish to eulogise it more than it justly deserves. Yet when we look around and see the vast amount of suffering and distress occasioned by many of the diseases in which this medi. cine has proved so highly successful, we feel that we cannot urge its claims too strongly, or say too much in its favor. Various remedies it is true have been offered and puffed into notice for the cnre of diseases of the Lungs, and some have no doubt been found very useful, but of all that have yet been discovered, it is admitted by physicians and all who have witnessed its effects, that none has droved as successful as this.

Such Indeed, are the SURPRISING VIRTUES of this Balsam, that even in the advanced stages of CONSUMPTION, after all the most esteemed remedies of physicians have failed to affect any change, the use of this medicine has been productive of the most astonishing relief, and actually elfected cures after all hopes of recovery had been despaired of. In the first stages ofthe disease, termed Catarrhal Consumption," originating from neglected COLDS, it has been used with undeviating success, and hundreds acknowledge they owe their restoration to health to this invaluable medicine alone. In that form of Consumption so prevalent amongst delicate young females, commonly termed debility, or INTO A DECLINE," A complaint with which thousands are lingerit it has also proved highly successful, only possesses the power of checking the progress of this alarming complaint, but also strengthens and invig. orates the system more effectually than any medicine we have ever possessed. Besides its surprising efficacy in Consumption, it is equally efficacious in Liv.

ver Complaints, Asthma, Bronchitis, and all affections of the Lungs. and has cured many of the most obstinate cases, after every other remedy had failed. As we have already published numerous certificates from the highest which prove its virtues beyond all doubt, we consider it to exhibit a long list of them place. and will unnecessary, only mention a few cases, to show what it has done. Woodstown, Sept.

4, 1841. Dear sir -Although vour invaluable medicine has already found hundreds of powerful advocates, it may still be gratifying to you to receive a communication rom any one that has been relieved by it. Such Sir, is truly my case. I have been a victim to that terrible disease Consumption, for many months, and have suffered so much, that I had become almost weary of my life. Hearing your Balsam so highly praised, I began taking it a few weeks back, and can assure you it has relieved me more than anything I have ever used before, and I confidently be lieve it will cure me effectually.

Please give the bearer the worth of the enclosed, and oblige, Yours Respectfully, Lancaster county, July 18, 1841. Dear Sir- -Please send me two bottles of your genuine Balsam of Wild Cherry I have been afflicted with Consumption for the last two years, and suffered very much with a severe cough, pains in my breast, difficulty of breathing, night sweats, and having tried numerous remedies, and also been under several doctors, yet I could not find anything to relieve me until I used some of your Balsam. I got one boule from a neighbor of mine who is using it, and have found such wonderful relief from it that I have no doubt will cure me effectually. Very respectfully, yours, ROBERT HOMMAN. December 23d, 1841.

Respectfully JOHN S. C. MARTIN. Pottsville, Pa. Dear si Your Balsamn of Wild Cherry has effected some astonishing cures here.

One of which is an old lady, Mrs Russel, who had been suffering for a long eral time with shortness of breathing, and genweakness, until she was finally obliged to keep her bed. After: various other remedies had been resoried to in vain, she commenced using your Balsam, and after taking two bottles, was so far recovered as to be able to attend to all the duties of her house, and on taking two bottles more was entirely cured.
