Hollom PTA Fetes Committee In Charge Of Dinner, Party IlaUam Committee members who had charge of the recent PTA dinner and card party held in the local fire company hall, were entertained at a tea at the home, of Mrs. John Leity, president of the local PTA. Winterstown A contract for the installation of two wash basins at the Winterstown school was awarded to Paul L. Snyder, Dal-lastown, by the Winterstown-North Hopewell joint school board during a meeting held Monday evening at the schooL The Dallastown plumber had submitted the low bid of $90 for the work, the directors said. In addition, the joint district ordered paid bills amounting to $3,931.98 including salaries and payments on the recent remodeling program. In separate actions the Winters-town directors paid bills amounting to $462.80 and the North Hope-directors paid out $2,701.38.

The largest portion of the bills acted upon by the separate districts represented payments to the joint district treasury. Public Sale Held At Hometown Farm Hametown A total of $8,346.86 was. realized at a public sale Saturday at this place, held by Luther E. Miller. A two-bottom plow sold for $145; tractors, $825; and grain drill, $130; elevator, $180; potato picker, $400; potato digger, $259; corn picker, $525; pick-up balers, $745 and $820, and combine, $360.
